Ryan P. Klobas is a former California government official who has worked in federal, state and local governments for over 15 years. Klobas has has served in many high profile, senior executive positions in government. His posts have included Deputy Cabinet Secretary for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger; Bay Area Director and Campaign Manager for United States Congressman Richard Pombo; Chief of Staff, Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors and District Director; Director of Special Projects for California State Assemblywoman Lynne C. Leach.
Klobas built a strong reputation working on high profile issues. He was honored in Washington, DC being named one of the "Nation's Brightest Young Political Leaders Under 40" by the CloseUp Foundation and Duke University. He has been featured many times in California newspapers, radio and television. However, he is most proud of his hometown newspaper, the Contra Costa Times, when it cited his "success on the political fast track."
Klobas holds a J.D., Doctor of Jurisprudence, law degree and also holds a legal Specialization in International Law, graduating in the top 1%. He also holds a B.A., Bachelor of Arts degree, where he was on the Dean's List and chosen as a member of his college's Board of Regents.
Ryan Klobas is single and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
